Aamane Resort Seikai in Beppu Onsen offers rooms that all come with open-air baths commanding views of the ocean, where guests can witness the moon rising over the pelagic horizon while soaking in their personal hot water tubs. The magnificent oceanside property features a scenic open-air hot spring bath facing the ocean, with the rotenburo allowing guests to observe diving cormorants and swans casually treading water in the sea while they soak in the therapeutic waters. Though located slightly further from the center (about a 10-minute drive), visitors find it "very worth it" for the spacious, clean rooms with private onsens on balconies, the impressive breakfast buffet with delicately prepared dishes and huge variety of food, and the attentive, friendly staff.
