Kasuitei in Kaike Onsen takes pride in its four types of private open-air baths and the large bathing area that looks out onto the Sea of Japan, creating what some guests describe as the "best onsen I've ever been to." The luxury ryokan features huge rooms facing the sea, two different kinds of rotenburo (outside spa) on each side of the property, and a convenient location with the beach just in front of the hotel (though the high waves might not make it ideal for swimming).
